Siton ATM-1000L crawler-mounted raise boring rig for open cut is specially designed for sublevel caving methods. The raiseboring machine is capable of efficiently carrying out upward short-distance, small-diameter raiseboring operations for slot raises and shafts in underground mines, enabling safe and efficient boring of vertical and inclined raises.

The Raise Boring Machine (RBM) can bore slot raises to provide free face and expansion space for large-scale blasting operations, significantly improving mining efficiency and operational safety. This raise boring equipment can raisebore boxholes with a max diameter of 0.67m and a max drilling depth of 60 m at angles ranging from 60°to 90°, as well as conventionally bore raises and shafts with a max diameter of 1.4 m.

1. Fast Positioning, Ready to Bore on Arrival

Conventional raiseboring rigs require concrete platform before operation, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and costly. ATM-1000L RBM adopts a frame support structure with four column cylinders enabling telescopic stabilization against the chamber floor and roof without the need for a concrete platform. After arriving on site, the raiseboring equipment can be quickly positioned and put into operation. Compared with similar machines that require concrete platform, the ATM-1000L greatly improves operating efficiency and flexibility, enabling fast setup and efficient operation upon arrival.

2. Dual Power System for Efficient Boring and Flexible Relocation

ATM-1000L raise bore machine is equipped with a high-efficiency power system, featuring a Poclain MS125 motor that delivers high torque and strong thrust. Its raiseboring rate can reach approximately 2 m/h. (Depending on rock hardness.) The underground raise boring machine can work in coordination with long-hole drilling rigs to form a “large-hole + small-hole” blasting system, improving operating efficiency. The mining raise boring machine adopts a diesel-electric dual-power hydraulic system with diesel power for tramming. Equipped with a self-lubricating, maintenance-less crawler chassis, grounding attachment, and hydraulic wet braking system, the machine delivers high maneuverability with two-speed shifting and zero-radius steering, easily adapting to long-distance ramp transportation under complex underground conditions for more flexible relocation.

3. Intelligent Remote Control Operation for Safer Construction

The advanced intelligent control system enables remote control, hands-free rod handling and anti-jamming system, featuring automatic operation, fault diagnosis, data storage, remote communication interfaces, and real-time data display. Each shift requires only one main operator and one assistant, significantly reducing labor intensity. Operators can remotely control all the functions from a safe area using the remote control system, effectively avoiding safety risks such as falls from height, noise and dust exposure, and mechanical injuries, while greatly improving on-site working conditions.

The machine adopts a modular, low-profile, and lightweight design, making it suitable for limited underground spaces.
